Sermon Series

Two Masters

As followers of Jesus, our relationship with money is one of our most powerful tools for spiritual growth, but it can also become one of our biggest pitfalls. Jesus Himself tells us, "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” (Matthew 6:24). In His words we’re reminded that money can either trap us or set us free. When our financial lives steward that freedom, we become the people God created us to be. In this series, we’re taking practical steps that will align our hearts with His, discovering how to honor our true Master and live in freedom.

Every week during Two Masters, we're sharing stories from Hosanna! attendees whose lives have been enriched by trusting God with their finances. Check them out below!

Neil and Brenda found freedom when they began tithing.

Dustin and Ashley found freedom when they began tackling their debt.

Mitch and Beth found freedom when they began budgeting.
