Sermon Series

Anchored

We’re all in need of an anchor amidst the choppy waters of life. Although we’re tossed in the waves, our God is constant and sure. In relationship with our Heavenly Father, we’re reminded of our security as His children. We see Jesus experience this firsthand in Matthew 3. During His baptism, “Heaven was opened, and He (Jesus) saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and settling on Him. And a voice from heaven said, ‘This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased.’ ” (v. 16-17) In this series, we’ll dive deeper into these words, discovering what it looks like to anchor ourselves in God – our stronghold and unbreakable lifeline.
