Weddings with Hosanna

Congratulations on your engagement and plans to marry! We pray that God will bless you and keep you calm in the busy months ahead. We will do our best to help you build a marriage that grows, prospers, and thrives for a lifetime.

We invite both members and guests to book our campuses as venues, and you are also welcome you to book a Hosanna pastor to officiate your offsite wedding.

Marriage Preparation

We want to help you build a faith-filled, Jesus-centered marriage for a lifetime. To accomplish this, we ask that you complete a few requirements before being married at our campuses or with a Hosanna pastor.

Marriage Prep Course

In this course, you'll learn valuable tools to create a strong marriage that will grow, prosper and thrive.

This course, an assessment and meetings with a Marriage Mentor are required for all couples being married at Hosanna Church or by a Hosanna Church pastor. This Married Life Course qualifies as the 12 hours of pre-marital counseling required by the State of Minnesota for the $75 discount on a marriage license along with the assessment.

Register

Prepare Profile

All Couples must take the Prepare Profile online relationship assessment and meet with a mentor for three to six hours to review the assessment. After you register for your wedding date, we will contact you with the assessment link and information about your marriage mentor. 

Planning Meetings

Couples being married by a Hosanna Church Pastor must attend planning meetings with your assigned pastor. Pastors are assigned approximately four to six months prior to your wedding and will contact you to set up the first meeting.

Worship Center Prayer Room/Outside Patio Area: 

  • $250 (Due at registration)
  • Seats 50
  • Available for weddings throughout the week and on Fridays, 10 am-7 pm and Saturdays, 10 am-1 pm
  • The registration fee includes custodial, set-up and take down, a wedding assistant, and access to the building the day of your wedding.

The Chapel:

  • $800 (Due at registration)
  • Seats 350
  • Available for weddings on Fridays, 10-4 pm and Saturdays, 10 am-3 pm
  • Rehearsals for Saturday weddings must begin after 6 pm if on the Friday night prior there is a wedding.
  • The registration fee includes a wedding assistant, custodian, audio and lighting director and access to the building 5 hours before the ceremony on your wedding day.

Community Life Center (CLC): 

  • $900 (Due at registration)
  • Seats 500
  • Available for weddings on Fridays, 1-6:30 pm and Saturdays, 10 am-3 pm
  • The registration fee includes a wedding assistant, custodian, audio and lighting director and access to the building 4 hours before the ceremony on your wedding day.

Details for Weddings at a Hosanna Campus

  • Pastor Fee: The fee for a Hosanna Church pastor is $200, due the day of your wedding.
  • Guest Pastors: Guest pastors are always welcome at Hosanna Church venues. Please share your pastor's contact information when you register. 
  • Wedding Assistants: If you are getting married in the Lakeville campus Chapel or Community Life Center (CLC), you will be assigned a wedding assistant. Your wedding assistant will help plan your rehearsal and wedding. They will contact you 4 months prior to your wedding date to arrange your first meeting.
  • Rehearsal: We recommend you hold your rehearsal the evening before your wedding. Rehearsals generally take 30-45 minutes. Your assigned wedding assistant will be present for the rehearsal.
  • Musicians & Vocalists: You will receive an email with available musicians and vocalists when your registration is confirmed. Fees are paid directly to the musicians/vocalists.
  • Marriage License: The state of Minnesota requires couples to secure a marriage license to marry. Marriage licenses with 12 hours of premarital education and an assessment, along with a completed and signed statement of premarital education will receive a $75 discount. 
  • Cancellation Policy: If for some reason we are not able to confirm your request, we will give you a complete refund. For cancelations received 90+ days in advance, we will refund all but a $50 administration fee. Cancelations with less than 90 days notice will be refunded 50% of the total fees.

Campus Venue Policies

  • The use of tobacco and alcohol is prohibited everywhere inside the campus buildings, including the entrance areas
  • Colored (red, blue, orange, etc.) beverages are prohibited
  • Candles must not drip wax
  • No food is permitted in the Chapel or Worship Center areas
  • No food is permitted in the Lakeville campus Chapel

Offsite Weddings

Even if you are planning your meeting offsite, you are welcome to book a Hosanna pastor to officiate your special day.

  • Offsite Fees: There is a $25 fee to register for an offsite wedding. Click here to register.
  • Pastor Fee: The fee for a Hosanna Church pastor is $200, due the day of your wedding. If your wedding is more than 25 miles from your Hosanna Church campus, please also pay mileage at the standard IRS rate for both the rehearsal, if applicable, and the wedding.
  • Musicians & Vocalists: You will receive an email list of musicians and vocalists that play for weddings when your registration is confirmed. Fees are paid directly to the musician and/or vocalist. It is the responsibility of the bride and/or groom to contact and hire musicians for offsite weddings. 
  • Wedding Rehearsal: The wedding ceremony rehearsal is usually held the evening before the wedding service. Rehearsals generally take 30-45 minutes. Depending on the schedule of the officiant, they may or may not attend the rehearsal. We suggest that you assign a person to assist with coordination.
  • Marriage License: The state of Minnesota requires couples to secure a marriage license to marry. Marriage licenses with 12 hours of premarital education and an assessment, along with a completed and signed statement of premarital education will receive a $75 discount.

What is required to be married at a Hosanna location or by a Hosanna pastor?

Our goal throughout the wedding preparation process, and during the wedding itself, is to help you build a faith-filled, Jesus-centered marriage. To accomplish this, the following requirements must be fulfilled to be married at a Hosanna Church campus or by a Hosanna Church pastor.

  • Marriage Prep Course: The Marriage Prep Course is perfect for engaged couples or those considering engagement. In this course, you'll learn valuable tools to create a strong marriage that will grow, prosper and thrive. Topics include communication, conflict resolution, finances and more. This course, an assessment and meetings with a Marriage Mentor are required for all couples being married at Hosanna Church or by a Hosanna Church pastor. This Marriage Prep Course qualifies as the 12 hours of pre-marital counseling required by the State of Minnesota for the $75 discount on a marriage license along with the assessment. Currently, the Marriage Prep Course is offered at our Lakeville Campus twice a year (Fall and Spring) The cost is $75 per couple and meals will be provided.

What is your cancellation policy?

Can I have a guest pastor at a Hosanna campus?

Guest pastors are always welcome at Hosanna Church venues. Please share your pastor's contact information when you register.

Will I get a wedding assistant to help before and during my wedding?

If you are getting married in the Lakeville campus Chapel or Community Life Center (CLC), you will be assigned a wedding assistant. Your wedding assistant will help plan your rehearsal and wedding. They will contact you 4 months prior to your wedding date to arrange your first meeting.

Can I work with Hosanna musicians and vocalists for my wedding?

You will receive an email with available musicians and vocalists when your registration is confirmed. Fees are paid directly to the musicians/vocalists.

Will the venue be available for a rehearsal?
